Roller Disco Dance Session - Christmas Holiday!

Christmas is fast approaching,
and with it come such wonderful and restful days
as boxing day, new years eve and all those other
lovely festive obligations to your friends and family!
With that in mind, we will be taking a break from
the weekly Roller Disco Dance classes now until the
new year when we will be starting again at the same
time in the same place as of Tuesday 16th of January...
For those that don't know, thats every Tuesday, 7:30-9:30pm,

Rollerworld
All-Nighter 18.11.06
Another of Derby's All-Night roller disco's has now been
and gone, and I truly can't wait until the next one!
Until then, I have time to get learning a few new moves
(competition is getting stiff at these things) along
with all the memories from the night... And my photo's!

Roller
Disco Dance class - Tiger Tiger - Update!
18.11.06 - After a hugely
succesful opening two weeks, the Roller
Disco dance classes at Tiger Tiger will now be running for
an extra half hour until 9:30pm! I'm hoping to start adding a
few pictures of the sessions to my gallery so keep an eye out
for updates. As always, your comments, suggestions and queries
regarding the dance classes or anything roller skate related
are welcomed- please fill out the contact form here.
In other news, the time
for the next Derby Rollerworld's legendary All-Nighter is
finally upon us... So watch this space for a review and pictures
of the night- I can't wait!
Rollerdance
Classes
Tiger Tiger in Leeds city centre will be home to my rollerdance
classes as of the 7th of November every Tuesday evening from
7:30 until 9. There will be a bar and DJ along with tuition
in rollerdance steps for all levels of skaters. If you're interested

Photos from BattleUK are now up in
my gallery. A big thank you goes out to the organisers of the
event for all the hard work which helped bring my old hometown
of Nottingham onto the international skate map at long last.
Several skaters from Notts held their first ever streetskate
this week, if you're within easy traveling distance keep an eye
on this
page for information on the next streetskate. Also, I got
around to buying new wheels and bearings for my skates this week,
it is bliss! Take a look in my gallery to
meet my wheels!

Company Promotion

Freestyle Skater Naomi
Grigg joined me in promoting the
Smoothie Company with SkintBut... magazine. The weather
remained glorious for the whole day, only for it to turn
into more typical British weather shortly after Naomi's
departure... grrr.... |

BattleUK
07.10.06 and 08.10.06
Freestyle skating goes to Nottingham with freestyle champion
and amateur skaters alike competing in the first UK based "battle
style" slalom competition. For more information check out
the official BattleUK site.
Look out for entrants from around Europe and the UK including
none other than myself! Wish me luck... |
Derby Rollerworld All Night Skate
18.11.06 10pm - 6am
There is a massive revolution in bringing back the all night
roller discos which were once so very popular around the UK. Derby
Rollerworld have been running all nighters again for a couple
of years now every few months with increasing popularity. The
last one was held in July and was an incredible night with people
from all over the country making the journey. This is going to
be BIG, if you are tempted to go do not hesitate, book your transport
now.

Notting Hill Carnival

Every year a whole bunch of quad dancers go and skate the
carnival on family day. I've been along twice now and it
is fast becoming a real highlight of my year! We skate
from sound system to sound system, start dancing and attract
nice crowds and have a great time along the way. I can't
wait 'til next year!
