Where to Skate
Leeds

Leeds can be a rewarding place to roller skate if you can forgive the hills and sometimes rougher-than-a-war-torn-cheesegrater roads. Below are a few of my suggestions for good places to skate in Leeds. Please do let me know if you have suggestions for other areas to roll in (or around) Leeds!

Hyde Park (Woodhouse Moor)
I can often be found at the top end of Hyde Park with my stereo dancing the hours away. I am occasionally joined by other skaters and I'm always happy to pass on advice. The surfaces aren't great, but they aren't too shabby! If you know of anywhere better please let me know.

Roller Disco Dance Class - Tiger Tiger (Tuesdays)
Every Tuesday night at Tiger Tiger I run a Roller-Disco themed dance class which is aimed at all levels of skaters from beginners upwards! With a bar, DJ's and an alomst perfect surface for skating you have no excuses not to come along! Check out this page for more information.

City Centre
Being on the rather hilly side, Leeds city centre presents great challenges to beginner skaters but on the flip side great opportunities to show off your back skating prowess once you advance a little! Although on a slant, Millennium Square has pretty decent surfaces and providing there are no events taking place is usually rather empty.
